Strengthening Families Through Prevention and Caregiver Support

Kinship Connect ATL supports caregivers with the tools, guidance, and resources needed to navigate child behavior, reduce family stress, and build stable, healthy home environments.

Who We Are

Kinship Connect ATL is a prevention-focused organization dedicated to strengthening families and supporting caregivers.

While we specialize in kinship caregivers—grandparents and relatives raising children—our services are available to all caregivers seeking guidance, support, and practical strategies to better support the children in their care.

Family Support Services

We support families through:

• Parent coaching and caregiver support

• Behavioral strategy development

• Emotional regulation skill-building for youth

• Support navigating school and family challenges

• Strengthening communication within the family

These services are designed to provide practical, real-life strategies that caregivers can apply immediately within their home.

When appropriate, sessions include age-appropriate skill-building strategies to support youth in developing coping skills and improving emotional regulation.

Kinship Connect ATL provides family-centered support designed to help caregivers navigate everyday challenges and strengthen the overall family system.

Our Approach

At Kinship Connect ATL, we believe prevention starts with supporting caregivers.

By providing guidance, practical strategies, and early support, we help families address challenges before they escalate—strengthening stability within the home and reducing the need for deeper system involvement.

Our work is informed by extensive experience in child welfare and family services, allowing us to approach each family with a deep understanding of the real-life challenges caregivers face.

We are committed to strengthening families, supporting caregivers, and creating pathways for children to thrive within stable and supported home environments.

Our Impact

Kinship Connect ATL is committed to supporting families through both direct resources and family-centered support services.

Through early community-based initiatives, we have already supported families across the Atlanta area by providing direct assistance to kinship caregivers experiencing financial and food-related challenges.

Our initial food stabilization efforts provided grocery support to families in Clayton and Henry County, helping to reduce immediate financial stress and ensure children had access to food at home.

As we continue to grow, our focus remains on expanding access to support, strengthening families, and increasing the reach of our prevention-based services across the community.
